This release focuses on reliability and access control, addressing several issues reported by customers

Display-only events (with registration disabled) now show their joining details and link to all members, as the event settings describe. Publishing an event into a Space from the Public Events page now works correctly in all cases: the selected Space is always applied, “Public event” must be deliberately selected rather than being on by default, and editing an existing event can no longer change where it is published. Once an event is published, its Space and visibility are fixed.

Access control has also been strengthened. Event visibility now always follows the parent Space’s current privacy setting, including where a Space has been made private after events were created. If a FluentCRM access tag is deleted, restricted events remain restricted, organisers and administrators are notified, and affected members receive the standard access-removal email with their calendar entries updated automatically — their records remain in the attendee list should the organiser wish to re-add them.

Also in this release: streaming events (YouTube Live, Twitch, Vimeo) now display “Watch live” rather than “Join”. Newly uploaded cover images are optimised for faster page loading, and several improvements have been made for sites running in languages other than English.

We recommend all customers update at their earliest convenience.
