Just a quick update – SpaceEvents version 1.1.0 has been released. It includes a number of bug-fixes, improvements and new features. This release specifically addresses a number of issues related to the FluentCommunity 2.5.0 update.

Still to come in v1.1.x releases — WordPress Gutenberg Blocks and Shortcodes, allowing you to display public events on any page of your website — not just inside the FluentCommunity portal. Also the ability to disable registration on individual events and link to an external event website, perfect for hybrid events or conferences with their own registration/ticketing. I am also exploring Custom Event Fields so organisers can add structured information to events — such as difficulty level, distance, or equipment needed — ideal for walking groups, workshops, and sports clubs.
