⚠ Important — Read Before Migrating
FluentCommunity limits each Space to a maximum of 20 Topics. bbPress topic tags are global and unlimited, so a forum with many tags may exceed this limit.
Before migrating, the plugin scans each forum and counts how many times each tag is used. Only the 20 most-used tags per forum are migrated as FC Topics. Tags beyond the top 20 are listed in the migration completion summary so you can decide whether to consolidate or reassign them manually after migration.
We recommend reviewing your bbPress tags before running the migration — merging rarely-used or duplicate tags in bbPress first will give you the best result in FluentCommunity.

Note on topic subscriptions. bbPress topic subscriptions are “notify me of new replies”. FluentCommunity does not have an equivalent per-post notification subscription. The closest available feature is FC’s Bookmark — a saved post list. Subscribed topics are migrated as bookmarks so the content is not lost, but users will not receive notifications based on the migrated bookmark.
Not Migrated
| bbPress feature | Reason |
|---|---|
| Likes / reactions | bbPress has no native likes system |
| Forum / topic icons | No equivalent in FluentCommunity |
| Sub-forum hierarchy | FC does not support nested Spaces — sub-forums are flattened |
| Spam / trash content | Intentionally excluded |
| Anonymous replies | No WordPress user to assign content to |
| Multi-site setups | Out of scope for this version |
